  •     The 9:00 service celebrates the worship of God around the familiar sounds of the keyboard, piano and organ. We strive within the context of our worship to reach for excellence through music and message. The congregation does receive the Lord's supper (communion) each week as a part of the experience in both services.

  •      The contemporary sound of the 11:00 service is centered around the leadership of a praise band. Many different pieces of music are used in our worship and praise, which we believe maintains a freedom in worship that is pleasing to God. We endeavor through the excellence of instrumentation to enhance the worship experience for each worshipper.

  • Our FirstKids worship experiences are designed to demonstrate the love of Jesus to our K-5th graders in a way that is exciting, engaging, and encouraging. Each week they learn biblical truths that are foundational in developing their faith through interactive games, high-energy worship, dynamic teaching in various formats, hands-on application activities in a small group setting, and time spent building relationships with their leaders and peers. We also provide families with tools to use throughout the week at home to reinforce the truths the kids are getting on Sunday mornings.

life groups

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, and that's why at First Christian, we encourage you to get into a life group.

A life group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in the homes of leaders & participants. In a group you'll hang out, study the Word, and pray together. Groups come in all shapes and sizes - married couples, singles, men, women, kids, no kids, workplace, under 20, over 40 - the list goes on.

Baptism

What does the Bible tell us about Baptism?

  • Baptism is by immersion.(John 3:22-23, Acts 8:31-39, Romans 6:3)
  • Baptism is for the forgiveness of sins. (Acts 2 :38, Acts 22:16)
  • The act of Baptism does not save you; Jesus does.
  • Baptism is a demonstration of our acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior.
  • Baptism- after hearing, believing , repenting and confessing, indicates a complete obedience of one who is following Scriptural councel for receiving salvation.

If you have any questions about baptism or would like to take your next step click here and one of our leaders will get in touch with you.

About us

We are a non-denominational church committed to loving people in the same ways Jesus loved people. Jesus welcome the outcast, fed the hungry, befriended the powerless, forgave the sinner, and challenged the wealthy. Jesus said he came "to seek and save that which is lost,"but it is clear that he also cared about the everyday physical and emotional needs of those he met. Thats what we are trying to do here at FCC. We want people to know the love of God through devotion to Jesus, so we always proclaim him firsthand foremost. At the same time we want to make God's love in Jesus concrete by the way we serve the community.

What we beleive

We believe in one God who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 5:16, 45; 6:1, 4,)

We believe in God who created all things visible and invisible. (Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28; Hebrews 11:3)

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's one and only Son, who the only Savior for sins, (John 1:14; 1 John 4:9 / John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:18)

Who was born Jesus of Nazareth, both fully human and fully divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, (Matthew 21:11; John 19:19 / John 1:14; Romans 5:15-17; Colossians 2:9; 1 John 1:1 / Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26-38)

Who died and was buried, and Who rose again bodily or physically from the dead on the third day, (Luke 23:44 - 24:8; John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)

Who ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father, (Luke 22:69; Acts 1:1-9; Colossians 3:1)

Who will return to earth to judge both the living and the dead. (Matthew 24:36-42; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:10-11; 10:39-42; 1 Peter 4:5)

We believe in the Holy Spirit, Who is an active and operative part of the triune God, (John 16:5-15; Acts 1:7-8; Romans 8:26-27) and Who dwells in every Christian. (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; 2 Timothy 1:14)

We believe in God's Holy Word, the Scripture. We believe God inspired the autographs or original writings of the Scripture and those autographs were consequently without error. (Mark 12:36; John 14:26; 16:12-15; Acts 1:16; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13; 2 Timothy 3:14-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We accept the Bible as the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. (Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; 24:35; Romans 15:4; Hebrews 4:12)

We believe the Bible teaches that man, created by God, willfully sinned against God and is consequently lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ and forgiveness of sin comes by grace through faith. (Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23, Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 1:7)

We believe the Bible teaches that one receives God's grace by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ, and being immersed into Christ. (Romans 5:1-2 / Luke 24:45-47; Acts 3:19; 17:30; 2 Peter 3:9 / Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9; Philippians 2:11; 1 John 4:15 / Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-7; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)

We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ, founded on the Day of Pentecost and consisting of all Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)
